She holds a doctorate in industrial health from the University of Michigan.   Experience includes: Ford Motor Company World Headquarters, UM Medical School Administration, and Clinical Communications at Pfizer Global Research & Development, before becoming an independent medical writer.  Dr. Salerno served as Administrator of the Ann Arbor School of Bodywork, where she was involved in policy construction, financial management, program planning and evaluation, and curriculum development.  Publications include a book chapter on Managed Care from the Perspective of a Large Purchaser, and a series highlighting influential women in occupational medicine.
